Optical constants and magnetic susceptibility of xLa2O3–30PbO–(70 − x) B2O3 glasses

The transmittance and reflectance spectra of glasses have measured optical constants such as: refractive index, band gap for indirect transition, basicity average electronic polarizability calculated investigated glassy system. A correlation between elastic moduli was performed. AC magneticsusceptibilityoftheinvestigatedglasseswasstudiedabove4.3 K.Thetemperaturedependentmagnet- icsusceptibility deviatesfromthe Curielaw indicating that weak antiferromagneticinteractions Laions were present studied magnetic entropy change determined.
