摘要: A change in attitude is urgently required to provide credibility to, and devise methods for, combining utilizing non-scientific information (local knowledge) together with more typical scientific data. In the midst of vast uncertainty about fish stocks, climate right for this attitude. Expert systems offer one tool combine different sources a meaningful way. We believe that through simple communication gather knowledge an expert system, development mutual respect will foster cooperation responsibility resource users, scientists managers, thus providing basis improved responsible management.
