摘要: The aim of the present study was to determine vitamin D status in cattle with malignant catarrhal fever (MCF). Twelve diagnosed as MCF and 6 healthy (controls) were used study. Serum 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3 (1,25-D), 25-hydroxyvitamin (25-D), calcium, phosphorus parathyroid hormone (PTH) levels determined 96.83 pg/ml, 30.0 ng/ml, 2.19 mmol/l, 1.57 mmol/l 15.21 pg/ml group 42.33 37.0 2.43 1.96 36.08 controls, respectively. Although serum 1,25-D level increased (P<0.01), calcium (P<0.01) PTH (P<0.05) decreased compared controls. results suggest that there might be an interaction between MCF.
