摘要: Summary Objectives To assess the reporting quality variation of abstracts accepted for oral presentation at National Meetings SEACV (Sociedad Espanola de Angiologiay Cirugia Vascular, Spanish Society Angiology and Vascular Surgery) during last 10 years. Material methods 150 abstract forms were randomly selectedfrom 1991-2000 period. All selected assessedusing a 20-item form (structured format 1, aims 2, material 9, results 4 conclusions 4points) in blinded fashion (for author, center andyear presentation). The presented as percentage maximum possible score (20 points × 100%, maximum). Results A progressive improvement was observed from 1991 (mean 45%) to 1995 (65-70%) (p> 0.001). However, reports has remained unchanged Structured consistently associated with significantly higher scores. Abstracts resident training or large hospital units showed no significant better quality. Conclusions During decade, presentations improved, although this progression stopped t he structured is [AngiologiA2002; 54:11-8].
