Generalized stokes parameters for waves with arbitrary form

摘要: The correlation matrix of an arbitrary stationary, quasimonochromatic electromagnetic radiation field is expanded in terms nine linearly independent matrices and it shown that the expansion coefficients play a role analogous to customary Stokes parameters.
