摘要: Myofibroblasts play important roles in inflammation, fibrosis and tumorigenesis chronically inflamed liver. Liver myofibroblasts originate from hepatic stellate cells, portal fibroblasts or mesothelial they are localized around fibrotic septum tracts. the source of extracellular matrix materials, including type I collagen multiple fibrogenic growth factors, such as transforming factor-β vascular endothelial factor. Although a detailed characterization function individual has not been conducted, owing to lack appropriate cell markers, recent lineage-tracing technology revealed limited contribution that derived various types liver fibrosis, compared with cells. In addition, cytoglobin, which is fourth globin mammals local gas sensor, provides new perspective on involvement cells carcinogenesis, possibly through its anti-oxidative properties promising marker discriminates between those fibroblasts.
