摘要: Using national data on white ever-married women under forty-five, differentials in marital instability are examined for several of the wife's characteristics at first marriage and couple's combined age, education religion. Dummy variable multiple regression is used to adjust effects differing durations since obtain each net other variables. With variables controlled, an inverse age marriage-instability relationship persists; differences stability by appear largely attributable education.
