摘要: Glioma represents a disparate group of tumors characterized by high invasion ability, and therefore it is clinical significance to identify molecular markers therapeutic targets for better management. Previously, metastasis-associated protein family (MTA) considered promote tumor cell metastasis human malignancies. Recently, the newly identified MTA3 has been shown play conflicting roles in malignancies, while expression pattern potential glioma have not addressed yet. In present study, we investigated immunohistochemistry assay analyzed its association with prognosis 186 cases patients. Results showed that was decreased compared normal brain (P < 0.05). addition, were more likely be low WHO grade = 0.005) reserve body function 0.014). Survival analysis independently associated unfavorable overall survival patients 0.001). These results provide first evidence negatively patients, suggesting may suppressor role glioma.
