Properties of the glasses prepared by rapid quenching in the V2O5-MO(M=Mg, Ca and Ba) system

摘要: Rapidly quenched glasses in the V2O5-MO (M=Mg, Ca and Ba) systems have been prepared by a twin-roller technique. Glasses up to 40 mol% MgO 50 CaO or BaO were obtained. No metastable phase was observed crystallization processes. From infrared spectral data for glasses, structural change of are discussed. The electrical conductivity decreased with increasing MO content, behaviour has related glasses.
