摘要: Abstract A simple model is constructed for the trapping of positrons by vacancies in metals. It shown that this can explain dramatic temperature dependence positron mean lifetime certain The predicts a double lifetime. argued effect should be measurable. Estimates vacancy formation energy have been made In, Cd, Zn and Al, three latter cases qualitative agreement found with values obtained other methods.
