摘要: Virtual reality (VR) is a relatively new technology that enables individuals to immerse themselves in virtual world. This multisensory has been used variety of fi elds, and most recently applied clinically as method distraction for pain management during medical procedures. Investigators have posited VR creates nonpharmacologic form analgesia by changing the activity body’s intricate modulation system. However, effi cacy not proven exact mechanisms behind VR’s action remain unknown. article presents comprehensive review literature date exploring clinical experimental applications control. The details specifi c research methodologies popular environments. Limitations research, recommendations improvement future studies, experiences with are also discussed.
