摘要: Abstract Delamination is the most serious damage of a coating. It generated even by single action contact when mating material very hard and its surface indented into coating under relatively large load. Cracks ring, radial and/or lateral types are in around region, partial delaminations introduced. Critical loads for crack initiation given theory. When load not enough to introduce cracks static only, introduced after certain amount friction cycles. By repetition friction, worn microcropically thickness gradually reduced. As result, delaminated generation propagation micro-cracks wear scar. The may take place coating, at bonding interface or substrate, depending on both yield strength ratio between substrate as well width. Wear maps distinguish region site relation thickness/contact width ratio.
