Organizational Improvisation and Product Innovation Performance: A Meta-analysis

摘要: Despite a surge of studies examining the impact organizational improvisation on product innovation performance, empirical researches showed controversial results. To resolve this problem, paper conducted meta-analysis to restudy relationship between and performance based research results 25 independent samples. And identified some moderators affecting relationship. The indicated that improvisation—product link was positive significant. Results also is context dependent. Factors such as publication time, industrial characteristics, level analysis, measuring dimensions affected large extent. In addition, bias, sensitive analysis cumulative were carried out. Based these findings, we develop recommendations for future research.
