摘要: Software development teams are increasingly faced with unanticipated obstacles to effectiveness that require extemporaneous actions. Team improvisation has been identified as an important team situated response emergent challenges effectiveness. However, the efficacy of is not well understood in context software teams—which perform complex, knowledge intensive tasks. We examine enhancing and identify geographic dispersion boundary condition. test our hypotheses using data from 299 leaders members belonging 71 teams. find positively affects performance, degree moderates relationship between Theoretical practical implications offered.
