摘要: This study analyzed the spatial and temporal distribution of crude adjusted rates incidence tuberculosis (TB) between 1997 2006, identifying areas greatest risk to indigenous non-indigenous population Rondonia State, Brazil. An ecological was conducted analyzing municipalities Indian reserves, using local empirical Bayesian method. The average rate TB among 35.6/100,000 inhabitants, while for it 415.0/100,000. Rates greater than 600/100,000 were reported in Karipuna, Sete de Setembro, Igarape, Ribeirao Karitiana reserves. We observed a number cases under 15 year-olds with little schooling contrast situation population. After making adjustments, some reserves exceeded 240/100,000 coinciding range 61-120/100,000. method led decreased overall heterogeneity rates. Evidence suggests that is more vulnerable contracting highlighted require further attention ensure adequate control Rondonia.
