摘要: A cross sectional survey was conducted to assess the prevalence rate of intestinal parasites with emphasis on hookworm infection apparently healthy 421 elementary school children Boloso Sorie woreda. The among studied found be 69.4% Ascaris lumbricoides dominating (40%) followed by (26.8). Low level hemoglobin not significantly associated infection. overall anemic condition (below normal hemoglobin) 20.6% (87/422). Promotion appropriate solid and liquid waste disposal supply safe water feet wearing are recommended. (author’s)
