摘要: Splenic preservation and conservative management are now accepted norms when dealing with splenic pathologic conditions. This case report describes the technique of laparoscopic partial splenectomy for an undiagnosed lesion. A thorough understanding anatomy permits resultant benefits, including a decreased risk postsplenectomy sepsis, short hospital stay, superior cosmesis. The success relative ease performing this procedure will pave way its future use in other selective cases involving pathology.
