摘要: Four homeowner and agency wildland fire mitigation strategies were empirically examined in relation to three sets of causal influences. Two actions (prescribed mechanical thinning) two (defensible space firewise construction) analyzed against socio-demographic, situational psychological precursors. Data from a survey Colorado residents (n = 532) living the wildlandurban interface. Logistic regression indicated that had significantly different patterns social causes linkages. Results support contention variables differentially influence for or actions. Overall, measures most useful. Theoretically based models natural resource policies can facilitate understanding mechanisms drive for, opposition to, improve policy development, situated communications local community involvement strategies.
