摘要: Abstract The remarkable optical properties of switchable mirrors, i.e. the ability lanthanide–magnesium films to switch reversibly between reflecting and transparent states by changing hydrogen concentration, are interesting for several applications. Since any application a high cycling durability is necessary, we have studied various, differently prepared, mirrors. As model system chosen in 1 M KOH solution. Typical degeneration features that were found included slower kinetics, oxidation delamination upon mirror. Of various attempts improve cycle lifetime, obtained best results using mirror loaded with during deposition.
