摘要: Abstract The aim of this paper is to give an overview the effects SO2 and NOx pollution control on energy efficiency fossil-fired power generation for following countries: Australia, China, France, Germany, India, Japan, Nordic countries (Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Norway aggregated), South Korea, UK Ireland, United States. Together these generate 65% worldwide. level seems vary widely included countries. highest desulphurisation denitrification present in Korea. These also have lowest emissions per unit generated. Limited implemented India resulting high specific emissions. effect net estimated be around 2% coal-fired plants 1% natural gas-fired plants. average use between 1.2% 1.5% output with levels control; leading 0.5–0.6% points.
