摘要: During the Transdrift III expedition to Laptev Sea in October 1995, samples were taken from water column as well various types of newly formed sea ice and analysed for Chlorophyll a (Chi a) indicator algal biomass. Ice included grease ice, nilas cores young (≤25 cm). The phytoplankton biomass (water depth 14 m 40 m) expressed by integrated Chi values ranged between 2.3 mg m-2 north Lena Delta 15.9 polynya at Buor Khaya Bay southeast Tiksi. Pigment concentrations varied considerably (0.3 2.36 m-3 0.2 14.6 nilas, respectively). However, content increased soon floes or pancake ice. Greenish slush overlying flooding near cracks showed low pigment concentrations, indicating that colouring was not caused algae.
