Seasonal Variability and Annual Primary Production of Phytoplankton in the Laptev Sea Assessed by MODIS-Aqua Data

摘要: The seasonal variability of primary production in the Laptev Sea has been studied and its annual values have determined using data a MODIS-Aqua scanner (mean for 2002–2018). Regional-specific algorithms chlorophyll are used this purpose first time. Two regions Sea—northwestern southeastern—are distinguished on basis long-term averaged over many years. Seasonal variations water column northwestern region characterized by maximum June (245 mg C/m2 per day). maximal southeastern entire area (273–282 day 256–281 day, respectively) is recorded from May to July. Daily 1.9 3 times higher, respectively, than region. mean 125 total 8 × 1012 g C.
