摘要: The cytokine interleukin-10 (IL-10) plays a pivotal regulatory role in tolerizing exogenous antigens. Experimental data indicate that low cellular availability of the vitamin D hormone 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin [1,25(OH)2D] results down-regulation IL-10 concentrations. tissue production an adequate amount 1,25(OH)2D depends on high circulating 25-hydroxyvitamin (25-OHD) level. present study was thus aimed at evaluating associations between season birth, status, and allergy risk markers total immunoglobulin (IgE) newborns. Cord blood obtained from 49 infants born during summer half year (mid-April to mid-October, geographic latitude 51 degrees N) 47 winter (mid-October mid-April, N). Serum levels 25-OHD were 99% higher, 43% higher compared with (p < 0.001 p = 0.018). Moreover, ratio IgE 124% 0.039). correlated (r +0.22; 0.05). Mothers' age, gestational ages, birth weights serum did not differ groups. We conclude status may least part adversely affect biomarkers risk.
