Type D personality and life satisfaction: The mediating role of social support

摘要: Abstract Objective The study aims to investigate the prevalence of Type D personality in a healthy Iranian population, test association between and life satisfaction determine degree which social support attenuates this association. Methods A cross-sectional design was employed. As many as 261 university students (142 males, 119 females, mean age 20.71 years) completed measures Type-D personality, support. Results found be 44%. In addition, individuals reported significantly less lower levels than non-Type ones. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) showed that can partially mediate relationship satisfaction. Conclusion results suggest is negatively associated with might protective mechanism regard.
