摘要: Abstract The monitoring data analysis performed in this investigation focuses mainly on selecting statistically representative scenarios of ozone pollution southern Taiwan. Measured employed were obtained from the stations Taiwan Environmental Protection Administration (TEPA). multivariate statistical technique, principal component (PCA), was proposed to screen scenarios. Kaiser’s varimax rotation method also separate study area into several homogenous influence regimes. spatial average profiles, backward trajectories and could reveal features selected Analysis results indicated that first four unrotated components rotated accounted for more than 70 70.8% total variance, respectively. score above 7 is screening threshold Such 14.2% number days with a low occurrence rate 1.37%. Varimax successfully separated subregions, contributing 33.9, 17.3, 12.1 2.5% variances, Evaluating profiles revealed weak westerly sea breeze dominant factor affecting production high event most stations. similar meteorological patterns same subregion.
