摘要: The expanding population of older adults living in rural communities presents a rich opportunity for new clinical experiences nursing students. purpose this research study was to explore the students working with communities, adults, and development relationships. sample included 96 16 adults. Using phenomenological method, we solicited comprehensive descriptions through open-ended questions. following themes describe experience they visited their homes: (a) Welcoming Presence, (b) Developing Trusting Relationship, (c) Spending Time Together, (d) Sharing Listening Stories, (e) Learning about Growing Old, (f) Nursing Students. Students believed that vital component education it taught them how develop therapeutic relationship, learn listen, be comfortable themselves role student nurse. felt home setting safe environment carry out assessments, receive feedback from This can easily implemented curriculum better prepare nurses challenges future.
