Daily work stress, mood and interpersonal job performance: A mediational model

摘要: Abstract A model suggesting that daily work stress influences job performance through its influcnce on mood was developed and tested. Seventy-one subjects (physicians, nurses technologists) from three outpatient cancer clinics completed questionnaires measuring objective subjective stressors, interpersonal at the end of each workday. Empirical support for obtained cross-validated using path analysis. As predicted, lagged effects next day's were much weaker. Job-related variables (namely, experience, satisfaction, role ambiguity informational social support) moderated stress-mood stress-performance relationships.
