摘要: The assumption that a longitudinal design reduces the size of relationships between work stressors and strains was tested. A comparison cross-sectional correlations suggested temporal separation reduced role ambiguity primarily attitudinal strains. Cross-sectional conflict strains, as well involving health-related were practically unaffected by switching to design. theory-driven approach adoption stressor strain measures in organizational stress research is outlined.
