Optical properties of cerium oxide (CeO2) nanoparticles synthesized by hydroxide mediated method

摘要: The nanoparticles of cerium oxide have been successfully synthesized by hydroxide mediated method, using nitrate and sodium as precursors. microstructural properties were analyzed X-ray diffraction technique (XRD). results show that the in cubic structure. optical absorption spectra recorded UV-VIS spectrophotometer range 320 to 600 nm photoluminescence 400-540 nm presented. energy band gap was determined Tauc relationship. crystallite size from Debye–Scherer equation came out be 6.4 nm.
