摘要: Abstract Contraceptive vaginal rings (CVR's) impregnated with a combination of d -norgestrel and estradiol were studied in group 10 subjects: five for three cycles six cycles. The inserted weeks removed one week to allow withdrawal bleeding. Clinical acceptance was good. Ovulation inhibited all treatment resumed within month following completion the trial. Bleeding control excellent, regular bleeding, no episodes failure only days breakthrough spotting. Serum levels relatively constant each subject except first half cycle which had slightly higher levels. rose rapidly insertion ring between 100 300 pg. per milliliter but then declined over next few generally less than 50 milliliter. After treatment, mean binding capacity corticosteroid-binding-globulin did not become significantly elevated serum triglycerides declined, contrast increases both take place women ingesting oral contraceptive steroids. This method administering estrogen-progestogen steroids has advantage inhibition ovulation good bleeding without disadvantage producing some adverse metabolic effects.
