摘要: The study examines importance and role of goats as source milk income for rural poor. It is based on primary data collected from 262 goat keeping households semiarid parts Uttar Pradesh (irrigated) Rajasthan (un-irrigated). were found to have contributed significantly family’s’ livelihood security. families keepers had access a period about 190 264 days in year. net annual was estimated be Rs. 1302 1873 per annum. alone 49 86 cent the households’ total income. paper also highlights advantages milk.
