摘要: Abstract Hydrodynamics of the inclined bed, which was randomly packed with small packings, subject to gas–liquid countercurrent flow for different column inclination angles (0–20° from vertical position) and liquid-feed nozzle positions, while sweeping fluid throughputs ranged encompass trickling up flooding point, studied using electrical capacitance tomography. The embedded overhead nozzles behaved differently respect attainment point. In case nozzle, pressure drop liquid saturation increased gas though leading considerably widened capacity as shifted verticality. Decreasing gradients saturations were measured gradually slanting axis at expense maldistribution inside bed. latter effect consequence segregation that accompanied accumulation near bottommost wall. One distinction this structure a peculiar stratified pulse regime, observed prelude in tilted beds. inception stimulated by interactions gas-rich upper region, function rates. Bed-obliquity, delayed particular is regarded potential method prospective catalytic processes are be carried out beds contain packings.
