摘要: This review discusses the application of aerogel Cherenkov detectors in colliding beam experiments. Such are used for charged particle identification at velocities which other methods ineffective. The paper examines production technology and how optical parameters measured. Data on threshold counters with direct light collection those using wavelength shifters evaluated. Also presented data Ring Image single multilayer focusing radiators.
