摘要: The presence and concentrations of non-ortho-, mono-ortho-, di-ortho-substituted PCB congeners in the polecat (n = 7), a member mustelid family, were investigated. PCBs extracted with Soxhlet apparatus. After cleanup non-ortho-substituted separated from other by HPLC. Determinations accomplished GC-ECD or GC-MSD. Patterns examined different organs tissues: liver, kidney, muscle, anal gland secretion, mesenteric fat, subcutaneous fat. Using multivariate statistical method for data analysis (SIMCA), significant difference patterns between secretion tissues was revealed. Lesser seven eight chlorine atoms mainly responsible this phenomenon. A more less organ- tissue-specific pattern observed all animals. not dependent on prey choice, which ranged terrestrial (small rodents) to aquatic (amphibians). This finding implies that seem be controlled metabolic processes rather than diet factors. total concentration (sum 29 congeners) polecats varies widely, two orders magnitude, 1 370 μg/g lipid. In some animals, exceeded experimentally determined reproduction effect mink ferrets. toxic equivalent approach, it planar 126 accounts 63 98% equivalents. results showed juvenile animals contain greater levels adult males females, might related an increased elimination due secretion. High such preliminary model including is proposed.
