摘要: Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic autoimmune disease and can lead to deformities severe disabilities, due irreversible damage of tendons, joints, bones. Previous study indicated that DNA repair system was involved in the pathology RA. In this study, we investigated association two 8-oxoguanine glycosylase 1 (OGG1) gene polymorphisms (rs159153 rs3219008) with susceptibility RA 384 Taiwanese individuals (192 patients 192 controls). Our data showed statistically significant difference genotype frequency distributions found at rs3219008 SNP between control groups (P = 5.6E-0.5). also AG may have higher risk developing We did not observe any OGG1 haplotype frequencies progression. The suggested are associated progression these be used as molecular markers
