摘要: RU486 (mifepristone), a potent antagonist at progesterone and glucocorticoid receptors (PR GR), is well known for its use in the termination of unwanted pregnancies, potential development oral contraceptives, treatment certain cancers other activities. Potentially, it could also play role obesity control, although few studies that have addressed this aspect focused mainly on central anti-glucocorticoid effects.
