摘要: The existing clipping researches in direct current biased optical orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (DCO-OFDM) systems generally originate from insufficient DC bias and the nonlinear transmission characteristics of physical devices which will distort system performances. In contrast to conventional theories, beneficial method demonstrated this paper aims improve effects DCO-OFDM systems. Using Bussgang theorem, signal noise ratio (SNR) bit error (BER) with are modeled mathematically. It is found that can effectively reduce BER, compared no situation, when mapped over an appropriate range. Also, optimal changes variation modulation depth. These results illustrate enhance performance systems, although it does introduce noise.
