Dynamic range constrained clipping in visible light OFDM systems with brightness control

摘要: Visible light communication (VLC) systems can provide illumination and simultaneously by way of emitting diodes (LEDs). The function is achieved employing simple low-cost intensity modulation direct detection (IM/DD) schemes. Brightness control flicker mitigation are two main challenges for the function. Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) has been considered VLC its ability to boost data rates. However, OFDM waveforms have high peak-to-average power ratio, will be clipped if magnitude beyond dynamic range LEDs. Clipping cause performance degradation as well illumination. In this paper, we propose an iterative clipping method considering brightness mitigation. We investigate in terms error vector (EVM) computational complexity. formulate EVM minimization problem a convex optimization compare with method.
