摘要: A major factor in determining the function of a particular cerebellar cortical region depends upon its afferent and efferent connections. Two distinct pathways convey information to cortex: climbing fibers mossy fibers. large amount fundamental knowledge about projections cerebellum from various precerebellar nuclei has been accumulated by using new anatomical methods, but axonal trajectories single fiber neurons inferior olive multiple sources have not well understood. The morphologies is essential for our understanding cerebellum. This article will describe compare entire olivocerebellar (OC) lateral reticular nucleus, pontine nucleus dorsal column cortex nucleus. Furthermore, this chapter deal with relationship between longitudinal nuclear compartmentations revealed aldolase C expression bands terminals neurons, discuss functional significance these organizations generate final output targets outside control movement other functions.
