摘要: Abstract The mixture of 3-methyl pyridine (3-picoline) and steam is used in the production vitamin B3 gas phase. aim this study was to investigate influence inert (H2O) on flammability characteristics 3-picoline manufacturing process. Four practical vapour mixing ratios 3-picoline/steam mixtures, 5, 10, 30 100 vol% 3-picoline, were selected study. A series tests employed for determining their fire explosion characteristics. Fire H2O: 5,10, carried out a 20-L-Apparatus under simulated conditions 760 mmHg, 270°C, together with high oxygen concentrations (42 21 vol%) real experimental results showed that safety-related parameters hazard degrees all able be significantly reduced while substantial amount infused into system. While proportion up 97 vol%, would non-flammable. As result, dosing process one effective methods prevent relevant processes from incurring hazards, not mention its economical benefit.
