摘要: This study tested the hypothesis that Multilayer Flow Modulator (Cardiatis, Isnes, Brussels) can treat aortic aneurysms through intra-arterial hemodynamic modulation, without substantial parent or small branch artery compromise, using 8 porcine models. The animals were euthanized and devices explanted upon completion of for examination. Results delivery system evaluation showed there no difficulties during navigation device arteries. An overall trend reduction in aneurysm size was recorded. opening nearly occluded with thrombus 2 explants. visceral arteries covered by remained patent, it adhered to arterial wall endothelialization clearly visible. MFM therefore placed stabilized while adequate blood flow collateral preserved.
