摘要: Primary neuroendocrine carcinoma of the skin or Merkel cell is an aggressive primary neoplasm. It commonly seen in elderly, on head, neck and extremities, where it can mimic a benign less malignant tumour. Pathological examination shows generally dense growth small dark cells, with immunohistochemical evidence differentiation. The microscopic appearance very similar to metastatic oat from lung this must be excluded by clinical means appropriate imaging studies. In study we present 13 new cases (the largest published series UK) summarize 214 literature which survival data are given. our series, 5 patients died spread carcinoma. From other studies, appears that early diagnosis wide local excision may only way prolong survival. No adjuvant therapy has proved effective.
