摘要: Abstract Elderly consumers are becoming an important segment for retailers to consider, due growth in numbers and purchasing power. Research has found the elderly have special needs marketplace. However, no research established whether understand those they providing them. This study uses nationally distributed samples of (1,482) retail store managers (161) such a comparison. Retailers were place greater emphasis on profit-related factors, while convenience product-related aspects desired by consumer. The findings suggest number steps that can take more effectively meet elderly.
