摘要: Abstract Glasses with composition x (ZnO,Fe 2 O 3 )(65 −  )SiO 20(CaO,P 5 )15Na (6 ≤   ≤ 21 mol%) were prepared by melt-quenching technique. Bioactivity of the glasses was investigated in vitro examining apatite formation on surface treated acellular simulated body fluid (SBF) ion concentrations nearly equal to those human blood plasma. Formation bioactive layer samples SBF confirmed using Fourier transform infrared reflection (FTIR) spectroscopy, grazing incidence X-ray diffraction (GI-XRD) and scanning electron microscope (SEM) equipped energy dispersive spectrometer. Development an structure glass as functions time could be established GI-XRD data. FTIR spectra show features at characteristic vibration frequencies after 1-day immersion SBF. SEM observations revealed that spherical particles formed made calcium phosphorus Ca/P molar ratio being close 1.67, corresponding value crystalline apatite. Increase bioactivity increasing zinc–iron oxide content observed. The results have been used understand evolution a function
