摘要: Abstract Effects of ZnO addition on structural and microstructural properties glass/glass-ceramic with nominal composition 25SiO 2 –50CaO–15P O 5 –(10 − x) Fe 3 − x (where x = 0–5 mol%) have been studied. Glasses were prepared by melt-quench technique converted into glass-ceramics controlled heat treatment. The samples immersed in bovine serum albumin (BSA) their surfaces investigated using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) time flight-secondary ion mass spectrometry (TOF-SIMS). Microstructure glass-ceramic exhibited a granular microstructure. Calcium phosphate, calcium silicate (Ca Si 7 ), hematite magnetite phases observed. Surface morphology after immersion BSA showed the formation OH functional groups. Absorption took place interacting silanol groups present at surface. fraction non-bridging oxygen decreased increase amount ZnO, which led to decrease surface dissolution; thereby decreasing adhesion BSA.
