摘要: Abstract Objectives Public health research demands a collaborative approach in working with communities to combat expected challenges the field. Therefore, improve primary care services, training programme on methodology, focusing principles of inter-professional education (IPE), was introduced at Karachi Medical and Dental College. The objectives this study were assess level learning by participants domain communication explore participants' opinions evaluations programme. Methods A total 96 participants, including faculty members, medical students, social works students technicians methodology course, selected during March September 2010. employed mixed method which competencies perceptions, as captured course evaluations, analysed, findings triangulated. Results results showed that 87% enjoyed contributing ‘inter-professional relationships’ ‘teamwork’ skills community-focused areas improved among 90% students. As many 78% 70% members identified ‘active listening’ ‘communicating information families’, respectively, being learned lesser extent. These defended their deliberations evaluation. Conclusion Learning through relationships found be most effective faculty, whereas teamwork Moreover, it better communicated families than staff.
