Prioritizing Commodities in Southeast Sulawesi Province of Indonesia Using AHP Based Borda Count Method

摘要: This study aimed to determine the priority of agricultural commodities in province Southeast Sulawesi,Indonesia using combination AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) and Borda Count (BC). In this way,pairwise comparison among alternative was done AHP, ranking thenanalyzed with BC. Six districts out 12 were selected as location. Data andinformation obtained through questionnaire survey interviews 30 decision makers (DMs) fromdistrict-level government institutions. Selected DMs came from (i) food crops division, (ii) estate division,(iii) livestock (iv) fisheries (v) development planning agency. Study results show thatdistricts have different depending on their agroecological characteristics andsocio-economic conditions. At level, first commodity is sea weed, other top ninepriority order are rice, cocoa, beef cattle, maize, cashew nut, skipjack tuna, coconut,cassava, citrus. The method has been proven robust, simple, flexible, adequate achieve studyobjectives. information about can be used by provincial renew itsfocus developing agriculture sector.
