摘要: BACKGROUND Peripheral nerve damage resulting in pain, loss of sensation, or motor function may necessitate a reconstruction with bridging material. The RANGER® Registry was designed to evaluate outcomes following repair processed allograft (Avance® Nerve Graft; Axogen; Alachua, FL). Here we report on the results from largest peripheral registry to-date. METHODS This multicenter IRB-approved study collected data patients repaired (PNA). Sites followed their own standard care for patient treatment and follow-up. Data were assessed meaningful recovery, defined as ≥S3/M3 remain consistent previously published results, comparisons made reference literature. RESULTS included 385 subjects 624 repairs. Overall, 82% recovery (MR) achieved across sensory, mixed, repairs up gaps 70 mm. No related adverse events reported. There no significant differences MR type, age, time-to-repair, smoking status subgroups upper extremity (p > .05). Significant noted by mechanism injury between complex injures (74%) compared lacerations (85%) neuroma resections (94%) (p = .03) gap length <15 mm 50-70 mm subgroups, 91 69% MR, respectively .01). Results comparable historical literature autograft exceed that conduit. CONCLUSIONS These findings provide clinical evidence support continued use PNA 70 mm mixed throughout body broad population.
