摘要: Hereditary nonpolyposis colorectal cancer (HNPCC) is characterized by a familial predisposition to carcinoma and extracolonic cancers of the gastrointestinal, urological, female reproductive tracts, notably endometrium. A genetic locus for HPNCC was recently determined linkage analysis exist on chromosome 2p; both sporadic HNPCC-associated carcinomas exhibit "replication error" phenotype, instability dinucleotide repeat sequences throughout genome. Here, we address hypothesis that replication error phenotype would be evident in some fraction endometrial or those associated with HNPCC. Microsatellite observed 17% 75% tumors These data indicate HNPCC gene also involved heritable somatic forms carcinoma.
