摘要: We report here the isolation by molecular cloning and analysis heteroduplex restriction enzyme mapping of seven distinct DNA fragments containing hepatitis B virus (HBV) sequences from genomic PLC/PRF/5 human liver carcinoma cell line (the Alexander cell). No intact full-length HBV genomes were present. Three different patterns organization detected. These included two linear without detectable rearrangement, three other with internal deletions, long inverted duplications. HBsAg are preferentially in integrated fragment, whereas core gene is eliminated. Several might act as templates for synthesis functional mRNA, only one clone could produce a full antigen transcript.
